Hydroelectric Power Plant Upgrades Penstock

In New Milford, Connecticut a 47 year old wood stave penstock at the Rocky River Hydroelectric Power Plant had reached the end of its useful life.  HOBAS Pipe USA supplied 950-feet of 120-inch pipe to rehabilitate this penstock.  FirstLight Power, owner and operator of Rocky River, hosted a ceremony on June 18 honoring those that participated in the completion of the project and the continuing preservation of Candlewood Lake.
